A Business Lunch
My wife and I went to lunch at a casual dining place that would like to be a fine dining place, but doesn’t have the food or prices to support it. The name is Romano’s Macaroni Grill (http://www.macaronigrill.com). This a chain restaurant that has 3 locations is St. Louis. At the location that we went to they have a new lunch menu, which is nice because before this they only had dinner entree’s for lunch. I ordered a combo Dou and selected a half chicken and cheese sandwich with a Caesar salad and the wife ordered a pizza called the Sicilian. Which is funny given that northern Italians should never be cooking anything Sicilian.

It was a standard roast beef or ham melt, but instead of a bun it had a sourdough slice of bread. We ordered that as a combo which came with curly fries and a drink. We finished of the order with a 5 for 5.95 three regular roast beefs and two apple turnovers. We add two regular drinks and that brought the total to 12.97 Read the rest of this entry »
